The Digital Line Counter features a compact, rod-mounted design with an easy-to-read lighted display, a line cradle, and a secure rod clip. Conveniently positioned controls allow anglers to adjust line tension, lock the line in place, reset measurements, and illuminate the display for easier operation on the water.
The Digital Line Counter is available in two versions to suit different measurement preferences. Choose the feet version for readings in feet (ft) or the meter version for readings in meters (m).
The rod clip secures the line counter to the fishing rod. A metal threaded knob allows manual tightening, while the built-in rubber pad helps improve grip and protect the rod surface during use.
The line cradle guides the fishing line through the counter’s rollers to measure the amount of line released. The rod-mounted mechanism allows the line to pass through during measurement and release when required.
The spring tension knob adjusts the pressure applied to the fishing line within the cradle. This helps maintain consistent contact between the line and the rollers during measurement.
The reset button returns the line counter reading to zero, making it easy to start a new measurement. The illuminated display improves readability in low-light conditions, while the counter tracks line distance as the line passes through the mechanism.
The dedicated light switch turns on the display illumination when the battery is installed. This makes it easier to check the line counter reading during early-morning, evening, or other low-light fishing conditions.
The line lock switch helps hold the fishing line in position within the cradle. It keeps the line seated in the measuring mechanism when needed, supporting convenient operation during setup and use.
The battery compartment is secured with a cover plate and screw. To install or replace the button-cell battery, remove the screw with a screwdriver, open the cover, position the battery correctly, and reinstall the cover and screw.
